I am Dexter Loko. A Nigerian-Irish writer and storyteller

My name is Dexter Loko. I'm a Nigerian-born writer of fantasy, science fiction, and general speculative fiction. For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by clouds, spaceships, and anything that hinted at magic or the extraordinary.

I grew up in Nigeria, where I spent much of my childhood travelling to faraway planets and enchanted realms of my own invention. Storytelling became my way of exploring the world, both real and imagined.

Today, I live on the east coast of Ireland, although I tend to hop from country to country in search of inspiration. My mind continues to wander freely, exploring new galaxies.

I write because I believe in the power of stories to move us, challenge us, and transport us. Through my work, I hope to create worlds that spark imagination and invite adventure.
